The M2-PalmVein™ reader is an easy to use, non-intrusive, and highly accurate USB biometric reader which utilizes a vein-map underneath the skin to quickly and accurately indentify users nearly 100% of the time.

The palm vein reader was developed by Hitachi and is deployed through Hybrid Biometric Platform™ from M2SYS Technology, a biometric software system that allows users to implement four forms of biometric software on a single server.

The palm vein reader scans beneath the surface of the skin, which makes it highly tolerant of skin surface issues such as roughness, dryness, scarring, or moisture.

One of the best things about using a palm vein reader is that the scanner is completely contactless, which diminishes hygienic concerns and greatly extends the life of the reader.
