Why did Jan Davis write: "I Loved You Too Much?"
Is it possible to love someone too much? Download this heart-wrenching title song, from the EP: "I Loved You Too Much." by Jan Davis and listen to his lyrics. Jan was inspired to write this song to gain the attention of other men who are, or could be violent when experiencing jealousy.
After recording this song, Jan soon realized radio stations from New York to Hawaii were adding "I Loved You Too Much" to their Top 30 playlists! At that point, Jan was asked to be a national spokesman for abused and battered women. A PSA (Public Service Announcement) was recorded with a strong message from Jan Davis, urging men of all ages to "back-off" when they feel a jealous rage coming on. This PSA is currently aired on radio stations across the USA.
The CD contains six Rock, Pop and Blues vocals by Jan Davis, including the first male version of Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart" and Harry Nielson's "Without You."
